I for the love of god hope this is standard so far.
I have no reads and am pretty lost in this situation (hence the disclaimer at the start of the post)

Do I call & call the river or bet the river if checked?
Do I just fold?
call and check behind if UI on the river?

man I suck at this poker business

With no reads, I call down. It's a button vs BB battle, he could be doing this with a lot of hands. Flush draw, J, smaller pair, etc.

I would bet the river if checked to.

any thoughts on not raising the flop? youre either pretty ahead or toasted, why not let him bluff off his chips if thats whats he's doing?

Hmm... but if he does have the jack I'm missing one sb there?
Though if he has a draw I get 2sb, 1BB postflop if I raise the flop and 2BB 1sb IF he 3barrels / I call the flop and raise turn.

But I dunno, my lines / thinking might be way off right now, but that's why I'm here for (roflerballs been browsing a ton of 2+2 micro limit threads)

By the way, I just got PAhud & tracker, and I have some clue as to what range is i.e 30% vpip, but where could I find an 'accurate' chart? I'm scared that I might be "misreading" these stats from time to time...

I think the board is too draw heavy for that. Flush draw, straight draw, etc, and a jack is never folding. I understand what you are getting at though.

the only hands you are "pretty ahead" of here are hands like QJ or JT

any diamond draw has 8 outs and Ax has 11. AJ has 5 outs
QT (although theres less combos of this hand) has 6
AQ has 15 outs

obviously some of these would 3-bet pf but you get the idea

im with zach, call down barring some good reads

ive been seeing more and more people trying to bluff in limit games, even at the lower levels

I liked the way OP played the hand. If buddy's on a flush/straight draw I don't wanna give virtual free cards by just calling it down.

If I have no read then I agree with Zach and call it down after the check-raise on fourth street. For all we known villian could have Ad3d and feels frisky with another 2 outs.

I think there's also a decent argument for 3-betting the turn instead of waiting for a river bet-call. It would be pretty tough for villian to 4-bet without a hand that beats you. If you get a call and don't make your fullhouse on the river then you can just check and you haven't spent any more bets than if you called the turn and river.

Realistically you're probably beat here most of the time but I don't want people taking shots at me...especially during head up play later.
