I only play cash games on the net and was wondering what hands do u consider raising hands. I always raise about 4 times bb with AA, KK, QQ sometimes JJ, AK suited or not, AQ suited, AJ suited. Other times when im playing well and feeling lucky, i like to raise with medium suited connecters such as 7 8 suited. Aslo when u get called do u still fire out a bet when u missed the flop? i only do this with my AK or AA, KK QQ or have a flush draw out. I feel as though im playing a bit too tight preflop so what help into what other do preflop. Cheers

I can't provide a set list for raising hands (with the possible exception of AA, KK, and AK), as there are many factors that influence whether to call, raise, or fold. Those factors include table position, opponent play style, chip stacks (mine and theirs), hand objective (sometimes you are trying to do more in a hand than just winning it), etc. Also, just a bit of constructive criticism regarding the playstyle you indicated in your post. You have indicated you "always raise about 4X the BB)". Even though you have put the word "about" in there, you need to mix up your play a bit more, so your opponents don't pick up on your betting patterns (ie. 10% of the time betting less, 10% of the time betting more). A lot depends on what it is you are trying to do with your raise (ie. get players to fold, get a bunch of callers). As well, what if there was a raise and a re-raise in front of you (ie. you have pocket aces in SB, it is raised and re-raised in front of you to 4X BB - are you going to raise 4x the BB again?) :? Every hand of poker that you play is unique, in that it is (nearly) impossible for the situation of each hand to play out in the same way twice. Therefore, it is very difficult to provide a list of hands that someone (at least this someone) "always" raises with. 8)
