I have a prop bet with a couple mates of mine that will have me playing sngs exclusively for a while. I've never really played them all that much. I've been pretty much a cash game player. I am just curious as what I should expect for ROI and ITM over many many SNGs.

What buy in?

there may still be a sticky at the STT forum at 2+2, which focuses more on ROI than ITM, but as I recall ranges from about 40% for low buy ins down to about 12% at $50s and $100s. Those are for very good players.

If youre mostly a cash player Id guess youd do about half that well in low buy ins and get destroyed in high buyins, unless you do a lot of studying first.

Start at the 5s and move up to the 500s

Thank you. I'll go check out 2+2 and see if I can find it.

I don't have much of a sample size but I am running ~33% ROI and ~46% ITM at the $5.50s. I probably should be better but I've taken some sick beats. Though I am probably just running pretty hot right now. Just good to see what everyone else is running at so I have a base point to go from.

Thanks again.

If you didnt find it here it is:

11s - 25% ROI
20s - 20% ROI
33s - 16% ROI
55s - 13% ROI
109s - 10% ROI
215s - 7% ROI

Higher ROIs are attainable at every one of these levels, HOWEVER if you can achieve the above ROI's you are capable of making a good living at poker, especially if you can do so playing 8 at once.

I dont multitable more than 2 or 3, which is why I think 40s are attainable in the cheap buy ins and low teens in the high buy ins.

I wouldnt even consider 500s, not matter what my bankroll is. Its too hard to beat the rake there, when everyone is an experienced player and STT play is pretty much "solved" mathematically.

Thank you !! I started to look for it but got side tracked by other posts and junk.... It would of been hours before I located it. So thanks a ton.
Thankfully I don't have to play the 500s much. Once this thing is over, It's back to the cash games for me.
