harro111 0
Can any of you guys give me some advice on playing this hand (QJ), I've had two bad beats with it recently after limping in pre-flop.Most recent example, I limp in pre-flop with it, flop comes: AQJ rainbow.I bet 2xpot and get 1 caller.Turn comes 4. I bet again (not sure if it's the right play, but hoping not to let opponent draw at the straight for free). He calls again and river comes 2. At this stage my opponent only has a small amount of cash left at the table, so i put him all-in and he turns over the nut straight (KT).Should I have bet here? I know there were a lot of hands which had me beaten, but I was pretty confident that this player would have raised pre-flop with AA, QQ, JJ or AQ. I thought he might very easily have had something like AT or T9.I think being out of position on this hand also hurt me.
Vade 0
You over bet the pot on the flop unfortunately, and played right into the other guys handYeah, QJ is a hand you want to bet on that flop though, and betting the turn is fine also because you really can't put someone on the ace, straights on the flop happen sometimes, don't worry too much about the results
