i'm really on the fence with this one. in a cash game, i gambool. in a tournament, i dunno.on 3rd street, you're looking at 2 bets just to stay in the hand. your starting hand is sold, but the action and board look like a bunch of your cards are gone. lets see where you're at:one J out. minor.a 10 and a 9 out. the 10 is significant. you have to have a 10 to make a straight, and there are only three left.a Q out, and he raised. we assume he has two of them, unless you have reason to think otherwise. this is important, as pairing your cards are going to be less valuable. i'm not expecting less than two pair to win this hand, and unless we catch a K, we're in bad shape there.we have a big flush draw, and no clubs out. this is what makes the fold tough. you have potential to make a big hand here. but as the hand is dealt, its likely your only chance to win the hand. you're probably not going to end up with anything between a pair and a flush.this looks to be a very expensive hand to play, as you're going to have to play it out to try to hit your hand, and you'll be calling bets until you hit it. there's potential here to burn half your chips and come up empty. if any of our clubs are gone, i get out of the way. in a tournament setting, i might look for a better spot to play. this is especially true for the horse tournament, where you can have a better edge in another game.as played, i might consider a fold on 4th after facing 2 bets. i'm concerned about having to outflush two players. but you're probably committed to play it out after catching the club. if it's a brick its a fold. the rest is fine. after we make our flush, i'm jamming. if the Q happens to catch the As, i slow down. thats about all that could scare me for the rest of the hand.
