Daniel... Bad Etiquette, Worse Players, Or Just A Blow Off...?

Poker After Dark this week is the rerun of the show where they had all the commentators play. Now I know that these guys are all great players, ya know except for Phil since everyone hates him, but it seems like they play so much differently than any of the true top professionals. For instance, Chad Brown had a hand against Howard where Chad held 77 in position, Howard had AQ, and the flop came blank blank 7. Howard bet out a small amount and Chad started to go into an in depth analysis of the situation, saying something to the effect of 'well that means you either have nothing or you have a monster.' He thought for a little and called, clearly putting on an acting job. Watching HSP and other tourney shows with the top professionals, I don't see too much of the acting going on. Is this because the top pros are just too good to fall for an act or is it because some pros do not want to win money that way from their friends; or is it just nothing at all and a bland observation that isn't true? I would like some insight on it if you could Daniel.

I think good players don't make speeches like that because generally making a speech before calling/betting/raising usually indicates a very strong hand.

I can't remember this hand, but it sounds like he was showing that he can be a good commentator or make a good analysis
