With a paired flop, being check-raised could mean our A,K outs are worthless. But with a coordinated flop, villain could simply be on the draw.Based on his relative position to the preflop raiser (us), UTG's check-raise looks like it was done for value more so than to thin the field. This inclines me to think he has the 7 rather than the 8.But players at this level seem to make plays like this with weaker hands than they should. And with Button still in there, we have more incentive to keep pushing. So, personally, I usually favor the flop 3bet against most of these loose opponents.Unless I have read that UTG's check-raising range must mean at least trips, I play it as you did.Did Button really call the flop... call 2 more flop raises... and then fold to the flop cap??--CM
