yours, daniel's, anybody's cell phone

Shop on the web a bit, see who gives you the right kind of minutes for a good price, and then pick your favorite features on one of their phones. The service is more important than your phone.I have been very happy with T-Mobile here in Atlanta.

If you don't want to talk, turn the ringer off.I think you're missing my point. The whole point of having one is that you can be reached by phone, or make a phone call when you're away from home or whatever, right?I've never had that happen. Just a crazy old anti-social loner, I guess.

Most cell plans are cheaper or about the same as a land lineThe extra convenience and emergency factor pushes cell phones aboveI used to hate cell phones too, Smash, thinking I'd be the last man in America without one but I realized that it just makes more sense in the long term

what about family emergenciesWhen there's one that's helped by me knowing right away, I'll get a cell phone., jobs,When I have a job that requires me to speak to anyone else that I work with more than once a month, I'll get a cell phone. and general convenience?Just not that lazy, I guess.Which is odd, because I'm really pretty lazy.

Yeah must be your area. I have had about every service and Verizon is by far the best. I have never had a reception problem. I also live a hell of a long way from Wisconsin. To agree with the other poster yes...if you want to actually TALK on your cell phone avoid Nextel.

depends on where you live, what is important to you as far as features & the plan. people say the plan doesnt matter, but it does. overage gets expensive.if you live in a city or suburban area I would go with cingular if you can get a plan you like. They have the best phones. motorola & nokia are the best. Try & not get any other brand. cingulars network is improving & when its done they will have the best digital network out there. Verizon is the next best option IMO or T-mobile.T-mobile just got Cingulars OLD network & it works well. they have decent plans & coverage & phones. If you live in the sticks,,,make sure you do your homework if you plan on using the phone at your home...your reception will more than likely suck regardless compared to more developed areas.

Verizon has the best service overall. Who cares how cool your phone is if you can't get reception? We need to know where you live. Certain cities have funky differences for cell companies.

If you have a girlfriend, then it's not a cell phone. It's a leash.
