Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9, A.
Hero raises to $12, 3 folds, SB calls $10, BB calls $8.

Flop: ($36) 7, A, 6 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $20, SB raises to $40, BB folds, Hero ??

How do we proceed? No reads, his 2nd hand, he bought in for 100 which is a sign of a bad player.

And this one I just want to know if I played fine. So no analysis just comment on how I played it.

Fold the first. Min-raised means he probably wants a call, and if you do call, you're OOP on the turn.
Second is a check/fold. You're not beating really anything that he called a re-raise with PF - unless it's a lower pair, but once again, you're OOP.
Third you played fine, and I doubt he has a nine or a six. Probably JJ/QQ.

These are all true.

The 2nd hand, there's no shame in check-folding a hand. You made a BIG reraise and he stuck around. The odds that you're ahead of him, or will get him to fold are really small. Any bet you make is like staking Naismith in any poker game; you're just throwing your money away.
