You were talking about how Habs trades have worked out but didnt mention that one in your original post. I guess you could pick either the fact Latendresse scored 25 goals for the Wild or that him and Pouliot nearly have the same amount of post season points this year and the Wild missed the playoffs.
Hahahaha...that was a good trade for both teams. Find someone on here beside Serge who doesnt think so. Go ahead.

I am going to come out and say that the Pouloit trade was the best trade out of all. But that is purely for personal reasons.

When the Oilers made in to the cup final as the 8 seed guys like Horcoff and Hemsky were good too....the next year Edmonton was last in the division and havent recovered. Now those guys are just overpaid.EDIT: I realize this has turned into a bashing of Montreal. Just wanna say I like the team, if they were wearing another jersey besides theirs or Ottawa's id be cheering for them. I even hope they beat Pittsburgh (for some reason I just hate Pittsburgh)...maybe it has something to do with cheering for the underdog im not too sure. As long as they dont win the cup go montreal!

i am fairly confident that the Habs are set for a 7-8 year run out of the playoffs.

You seem to be (almost) saying the Habs will make the playoffs for the next 7-8 years. You might actually be right about that one.

I'm surprised you know this...being a fan of such an apathetic and boring team.

Never mind about the riot the following year in Vancouver, after the Canucks lost to the Rangers...At least our guys were happy rioters.

awww, crap. guess I cant wait for 5k to change my handle afterall.Leafs suck, Habs suck, Leafs suck....bla bla bla.seriously- damn well done Habs. I am impressed at this run. I thought they might have the first round in them, but I didnt think this would go 7, unless Halak owned Fleury. I cant believe its the forwards on Mtl outplaying the Pens fwds.

the sad part is a lot of people in the States dont differentiate the hooligans in Montreal from normal people...Even normal people in MOntreal..They make all hockey fans look boorish, and English football hooligan types.

Hey now, we riot.Detroit used to riot back in the days when the Pistons won in 89 and 90. Everyone worried that the city would riot again when they won their first cup in 40+ years but it went all right.Denver riots all the time. Weirdo's.
