I guess this is the Murray/Downey replacement for the fourth line, those guys aren't comming back right.[/quote]But why give 900k a year to a fourth liner ? They should give Ferland a fair shot instead. Man oh man, I sure hope that Digital is right about a possible trade in the works.
I blame Turco.

Before I saw that article from 2004, I had completely forgotten that guy was ever a Penguin.

This isnt a troll post, or something to upset the masses ...however:

If the Penguins win the Stanley Cup, I will stop watching hockey for a full year.

This is a 100% true story.

Posted ImageKostopoulos is a great addition to the Montreal Canadiens. Now he wont score pretty but he will give it all on every single shift and not only that he can fit in on every line. If you need a quick replacement on a top line he can easily be thrown in as the lines checker. As he is very smart with the puck and can often make a great pass. He can drop the gloves as shown above. He wont take on anyone who is considered a heavyweight but he is not afraid to get into a fight and stand up for his teammates. For a couple of games he was one. After the Norstrom trade and with a few people going down he was like 7th in line. Then again the Kings had 6 different A's at the end of the season.

that made me dizzy just watching it. i believe the knock on subban is his defensive hockey sense, his skating was the plus.

Abby is gone to Pheonix, he got his chance to step up in Montreal and failed, he has the potential to be a #1 golie, but never in Montreal. Good luck with the yotes Abby. So now what’s the plan with Huet, Halak, Dannis and Price. We ride with Huet as long as it goes well, have Halak or Dannis back him up until Price is ready ie: 1 or 2 years. Then go with a Huet/Price or a Price/Halak or Price/Dannis combo. It’s too bad Dannis isn’t getting more chances, I liked what I saw from this guy. If halak become the number 2 this year and performs well in the games he sees, Dannis is going to have to try to get out of Montreal and play for a team that needs a prospect goalie.

Rumors of brisebois comming bac to montreal ------ZOMG :club: , this better not happen. Also higgins played the last 17 games with a fractured collar bone and got surgery 1 month ago. He is now training like a machine and will be the player in best shape for the begining of the season. This kid is going to have an incredible year with 30+ goalshere is as pic of higging squatting 200kg from his junk, pretty impressive :D Posted Image

The rumour is for only $750,000 so I don't mind it at all at that price. It would take big balls for Brisebois to come back to Montreal though. Hopefully he returns with something to prove.

I hate seeing someone getting booed out of Montreal, it's shameful as a fan to do to people like brisebois and theodore what happened to them, I was at the last game Theodore played a the bell center and i'm prood to say I didn't boo once, he deserves better trreatment than that and some people deserve worst, don't think Briere didn't realize the potential diaster a bad season could bring to his career. That being said, Brisebois is a good for nothing deush who is good at getting his team eliminated from the playoffs, seriously, I never want to see him in Montreal no matter how cheap it is. The bonuses he would bring to our team would be minor and useless in the long run, develop a rookie instead and look at Komisarek if you need to feel better about our D men.

i wouldn't be upset, he is a very good peice of change to trade with, he's a 30 goal scorer with the potential for 40+, his limitations are within himself and there's nothing we can do about it, let's give someone else the chance to be a first line superstar.

Habs sign Brisebois. I think a trade is in the works. Perhaps something that includes Ryder and either Dandenault or Streit.

coutos to him for having the balls to come back to montreal but this could be disasterous. He got booed out of Montreal and still wants to finish his career here, I don't know what to think about this really. Hopefully he gets respected this tme around because and encore of the last fiasco would suck.
