its going to be an all-in fest whether you treat it like so or not. you pretty much have to get good hands early and hope they run well cause short stacked in a turbo tourney is one of the hardest things to manage in poker.

Buy a Bic Mac combo instead. Seriously though, it's a crapshoot. I like to move with medium suited connectors, (and premium hands, obviously) and try to outdraw A/rag.If you double up a few times, you can then be slightly more selective, but not much.Just enjoy your Big Mac and fries. Might I suggest some sweet and sour sauce for your fries?

My strategy for you...Hit up the Wendy's dollar value meal. Lots of good deals available there.Turbo Mtts take very little skill and an enormous amount of luck. Stay away from them unless you are just playing for fun and not for profit.

Yep, proper strategy is to not play them.

I play these tournaments on occasion, for the same reason alot of people play that Nutbar game. It's just good practice for short stack situations. Since the blinds go up so fast, everyone is shortstacked. You get a feel for those tough decisions you have to make, when to make your move, and such. I've actually won two of these, and they've been a big help when I find myself with a shortstack in a regular tourney. Most of the time, though, it'll feel like a waste of money. But as long as you just consider it as practice, they do have benefits.
