One night, the puzzle (or whatever the F they call that) comes up with the hint: Event. With no letters showing, I yell "MARDI GRAS IN NEW ORLEANS!" If you auditioned for that show and got all of the questions correct, you aren't getting on the show. They want the dumb people to make it more watchable.Did you see the one where the question was (don't remember the exact wording, but something like):What country has the longest border with the US?I'm not even going to say the answer because it's so obvious, but the lady had to use a help.I'll admit, there have been a few (very few) questions that I missed for lack of remembering a math formula or something like that....but it seems they miss the easy ones the most. This was many years before they started giving the person free letters.It was the final puzzlehint: person_ _ _ __ _ _ _I instantly said Alan Alda and it was correct. Unfortunately the only witnesses were my parents but at the time, it was somewhere in between booting a home run in kickball and getting the neighbors daughter to show her peach fuzz.
