jtwoms 0
Just wanted to get people starting about their favorite stand up acts. For me it has to be Lewis Black, his stage presence is unbelievable. What do you guys like/recomend? Also, check out Pablo Francisco, he does the moviefone voice better than the actual guy.

jtwoms 0
I saw Lew in concert a couple months ago. Guy is the real deal. Dane Cook is another guy I really like, but his act gets old after a while.
superchuck 0
i like dane cook, because he leaves EVERYTHING on the stage. if he got up there and no was laughing i believe strongly he would kill himself for a laugh. audience interaction is funny too, asking people if they boot black tar heroin was pretty funny.chuck

funkyworms 0
I am somewhat of a comedy connoisseur. I have recently compiled a collection of over 100 comedy albums. My all-time favorite stand-up comedian has to be Jim Gaffigan. If you have never heard of Jim Gaffigan, please check out his website at www.jimgaffigan.com . He has recently released an album on Comedy Central records. He also has some older albums which are a bit more raw, but of lesser sound quality. Some of my other favorites include: Mitch Hedberg, Dane Cook, and David Cross. David Cross has some incredibly funny stand-up. He also released a DVD on sub-pop records that chronicles his comedy tour which is one of the funniest "documentaries" you will ever see. That's all for now. Send me a message if you want to know about some lesser known comedies or just want to talk about comedy.

Gaffigan's great too, but a lot of his stuff is more visual, so as its not as good on cd. kevin james' special was funny too. also cant believe no one has said bill hicks.
