Going to be in Vancouver that weekend with nothing much to do and am hoping to play some poker. I know about the River Rock casino in Richmond but is there likely to be any other poker action within driving distance that weekend? I am interested in tourney action or low limit cash games. I know that several casinos in Vegas play a 1-3 spread game with single $1. blinds which is my favorite. Anything like that in the Vancouver area? Are there any other casino's near Vancouver? What spreads do they actually do at River Rock?

River rock has tournaments . call the casino and ask for the tournament schedule, I think you can register over the phone not too sure. The lowest limit at riverrock is 2/4 limit. They have one NL 200 max buy-in table. There is a new casino next to the plaza of nations in Downtown vancouver.http://www.edgewater...?page=about_us|Havn't played there yet but it looks good.All the other poker rooms are crappy.
