Going to be in Vancouver that weekend with nothing much to do and am hoping to play some poker. I know about the River Rock casino in Richmond but is there likely to be any other poker action within driving distance that weekend? I am interested in tourney action or low limit cash games. I know that several casinos in Vegas play a 1-3 spread game with single $1. blinds which is my favorite. Anything like that in the Vancouver area? Are there any other casino's near Vancouver? What spreads do they actually do at River Rock?

River Rock has$2/4, $4/8, $4/8 kill, $6/12 (sometimes), $8/16, $10/20, $20/40, $30/60, and sometimes higheralso NL with 200-500 buyin, $3/6 blindsi think you're out of luck for RR tournaments - they have tournaments every other saturday, on April 30th it's $250+20, 220 people. if you're in town on the thursday there's a 60 person tournament at 10am that's usually around $30-40the holiday inn on broadway near cambie in vancouver has $10/20 and i think they just added $2/4edgewater is a new casino in downtown vancouver - i think it just has 4 tables and they're all $4/8if you're up for a drive there's a pretty good casino down in washington - tulalip casino. www.tulalipcasino.com
