Okay, as the title says:PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: Emptyeye is BB with Tc, 2c.2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Emptyeye checks.Free look at the flop with the suited Doyle.Flop: (6 SB) 2s, 3s, Ts (6 players)SB checks, Emptyeye bets, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls.Hit two-pair on a three-flush board and bet it. No resistance tells me I'm good, though I'll probably shut it down anyway if a fourth spade comes (Being that I have none).Turn: (5.50 BB) Ac (5 players)SB checks, Emptyeye bets, MP1 folds, CO folds, SB calls. No spade and I bet again.River: (7.50 BB) Kc (3 players)SB checks, Emptyeye bets, Button calls, SB raises, Emptyeye calls, Button calls.Bet the river and get check/raised. Wha? I pretty much know I've been played at this point, but make the crying call for one more bet.Final Pot: 13.50 BBResults in white below:Emptyeye has Tc 2c (two pair, tens and twos).Button has 3c Ah (two pair, aces and threes).SB has 7s Ks (flush, king high).Outcome: SB wins 13.50 BB.Ow. Incidentally, I was drawing to four outs on the turn against button too.I know you're going to say "WTF NO RESLUTS FOO", but they're actually important to my question. Ignoring the fact that on the turn I was actually being destroyed by the button too, is there ANY way of putting SB on the flush given the way the hand was played?Hand two will be result-free:PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: Emptyeye is MP1 with Qd, Qs.UTG calls, 1 fold, Emptyeye raises, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.Raise the queensFlop: (12 SB) 9c, Kc, Ac (6 players)SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Emptyeye checks, MP2 checks, CO checks. That board is too damn scary for me. (Here's my question: Even though this is the Flop from Hell for queens (My queens in particular), should I have fired here anyway?Turn: (6 BB) 6c (6 players)SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Emptyeye checks, MP2 checks, CO checks. That doesn't make it any better. (Obviously, holding no spade, I would have to shut it down here, right?)River: (6 BB) 7d (6 players)SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, Emptyeye folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, SB calls, BB folds. And I fold at the earliest opportunity.Final Pot: 8 BBThe plain text conversion is due to the fact I posted them in the link conveniently located in my sig (
), which has many, more hands from today, though most are pretty straightforward.

Hmm...first hand the guy just played you, no real way to avoid itA check raise on the turn would have saved you a bet, but he knew he had the best hand, though he played it badly with multiway pot...he didn't even have the nut flush2nd hand, yeah, QQ is toast here most of the time BUT you have to lead out anyway...if you raise preflop, you should bet the flop at least to protect your future preflop raises on scary boards...and fold to a raise

To tack on another question: Do you guys think you should always fold at the river to the UTG bet in the second hand?

Caveman, if you played the hand like the OP, then you have to foldIf however you bet the flop, got called...it went check check on the turn, and then the UTG bet the river, I think you're obligated to call

Bringing this back up to ask another question or two:In hand one, should I have been worried at all about the fact that two people stuck around (Albeit both passive as hell)? In the second one, I'm aware that you usually have to follow up preflop aggression with post-flop aggression. This holds true even here on such a scary flop that I'm probably, if not already against the made flush (Meaning I need runner-runner boat or quads to come up), drawing to what is most likely one out (The queen of hearts) against a pair of aces or kings? Also, if I fire out and get called, what then, particularly if the fourth club alls? Check/call it down? Just give up and check/fold? Continue being aggressive due to the lack of resistance (I can just as easily see top pair calling here as I can a flush draw)?
