Just wondering... because obviously hindsight is 20/20. Yeah. mostly a joke... I probably should have put this post in the bad beat whiner section! Just frustrating to watch it turn into a straight flush with 2 others all in... but I know I made the right play.

This is called results based thinking.You should try to not let the results of one particular hand affect your approach to starting hands.What you did is correct.

You're likely way behind, so folding is a no-brainer. Even more so since the stacks are so deep.

You are absolutely (no pun intended) right. Normally, I don't let the results bother me - I just focus on the immediate decision at hand given the present information. After making the decision, you have to move on.I don't know why, probably seeing the stone cold nuts with people still betting - it just temporarily ticked me off, which was unusual. That's probably why I posted it here right after - to vent so I didn't tilt at the table...
