gobears 0
From pokerpages:Daniel Negreanu just called the floor to invoke a penalty on another player. The player was unaware that there is a rule against checking the nuts on the river, and now has to serve a one-orbit penalty. The rule is in place to prevent players from soft-playing. Must mean that after opponent checked, the guy with the nuts checked behind - see this happen once in awhile in online tournaments.
2bthebest 2
Mon Mar 12 16:21:00 PDT 2007Daniel Negreanu EliminatedA short-stacked Daniel Negreanu has been eliminated from the tournament after getting all in preflop with A-10 against his opponent's A-J. The board does not improve Negreanu and he has been eliminated from the tournament.

Caught_clean 0
On a flop of J107, three players are all in, including Josh Arieh for his last $8,825. One player flips over KQ, the next shows KJ but Arieh turns over 98 for the nut straight. The turn is the 6 and the river comes the 9. Arieh survives the hand and triples up to over $25,000 chips. This tournament is weird, people checking the nuts on the river last to act, people getting it all in with 3s in the 2nd level, and a jack high straight beats a king high straight hmmm... DanielNegreanu 141
WTFDaniel trying to give someone a penalty, that seems kinda low and unlike himAnd the jack high straight beating the king high straight, rigged I wasn't "trying" to give someone a penalty at all. There is a TDA rule that states, "A player in last position cannot check with the nuts on the river." There were four diamonds on board, this guy had the Ad. His opponent checked, and he also checked with the mortal nuts in a heads up pot. That's illegal. You can't do that. I'd call that one against my own mother, lol... (just to be fair)
