a ) That your roomate's ferret has climbed onto your desk, knocked over a glass of water, and fried your $100 wireless keyboard and your digital voice recorder ($80) sitting next to it.
b ) That someone your roomate kinda-sorta knows who they invited back to the house decided your bed was the most appropriate place to throw up, and then fall asleep in.
