8. Kyle Okposo, NYI.- the next Jarome Iginla
11. Bobby Ryan, ANA.- could be Cam Neely, or could be a bust.
18. T.J. Oshie, STL.- having a great season in college. Might be in the NHL next season.
20. Benoit Pouliot, MIN.- played three games with the Wild this season.
26. Kris Russell, CLB.- with be the team's PP point man next season.
33. Jack Skille, CHI.- super speed. Scouts say he's better suited to the NHL game than he is college.
45. Andrei Kostitsyn, MON.- playing in Montreal right now after dominating the AHL.
49. Nicklas Bergfors, NJ.- mature for his age, could crack the Devils lineup next season.
That's 8 prospects in the top 50. I'm actually not sure about this, but I can't imagine anyone else has more than that, especially since 9 of them are goalies. I have 8 of the top 41 player prospects according to THN. Funny thing is, from a purley offensive perspective, I have guys on my farm not on the list that are even better than these guys.

It's like a violin? LOL, I don't even get it? Not only are my prospects excellent Serge, but my big team is already an excellent team that is much, much, much, better than yours. In three years from now, I'm seriously going to be at least 20 points better than you in the standings. Not only that, I can keep this team together for the next 10 years and still afford them.
Here was the top 10 prospects:
1. Erik Johnson
2. Jonathan Toews
3. Nicklas Backstrom
4. Jack Johnson
5. Carey Price
6. Marc Staal
7. Peter Meuller
8. Kyle Okposo
9. Luc Bourdon
10. Kris Letang

Yeah, my brother is a huge Chicago fan, and as such we've had many, many conversations about the future of the Hawks organization. They're finally, finally, FINALLY doing things the right way (cover your ears Serge) and holding onto their draft picks and prospects rather than trading them for immediate help as they've done so often for the past 20 years (Hasek, JP Dumont, etc...etc).
The Hawks are going to be a sick, sick team in about 2-3 years time if they hang in there and stay the course. Martin Havlat, Jonathan Toews, Jack Skille, Tuomo Ruutu, Cam Barker, Brent Seabrook, Rene Bourque, Duncan Keith, Dave Bolland, Michal Handzus, Justin Williams....
Remains to be seen if Corey Crawford is the real deal between the pipes or if Chicago will need a goaltender in the future, but aside from that they're primed to be an excellent team in the very near future.

The only true "prospect" I ever had was Jack Johnson, and I traded him for Brett Clark and a couple of draft picks.
Tough to keep your prospects this year, unless you fell out of the playoff race early on. It will get much smoother next year with the advent of the farm system.

According to the experts I have NO PROSPECTS...However like i have said I prefer 23-25 year old guys producing in the NHL than prospects that wont make it..
For example for the sake of the AHL..A lot of these guys will enter our pool at a $3 contract...in 4 years contract will be maybe $6..
Meanwhile in 4 years Penner is $.75, Gionta $1, Afinogenov $2.75, Wellwood $4.25...And they can all be signed again for another 5 years..
however not with high level entry draft prospects....
My two cents..
Thanks

No, the only reason he isn't #2 is because of Jonathan Toews superiority.
