navybuttons 16
use some pot control. i'd prefer check/folding flop over building a huge pot OOP that has no value on later streets and has a lot of reverse implied odds.as played check river and maybe call based on the bet size, but probably fold. bdc30 0
Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is BB with 9 K A J UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, 2 folds, 2 folds, Hero checks.Flop: J 9 A ($3.5, 3 players)Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $3.5, CO folds, Hero calls.Turn: 3 ($10.5, 2 players)Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $10.5, Hero calls.River: Q ($31.5, 2 players)Hero checks. This passive line brought to you by OOP players all around the world will help you get to showdown for much less money, while showing some pot control in case you boat up on the river and can then lead out. The way you played it, the only way all the money is going in the middle is if you're already behind, and when it does, you can bet that is the case more often than not.
