I was flicking through the channels this past weekend, and caught some show, can't remember the name, something like Ultimate Poker showdown or something like that. Don't even know what channel it was. Matusow was on there doing commentary, all dolled up to the nines like something from Saturday Night Fever (you know, with the big coller, gold chain around the neck, chest hair showing...I swear I caught a glimpse of a paint can beside his chair). Anyhow, we start busting a gut every time we see him, let alone any time he starts talking. Now, I have no idea when this was filmed, but I swear he must have been all hopped-up on something. I haven't seen him very many times, so I don't know what he is like in general, but it was weird/funny nevertheless.

I saw the show you are talking about and it is a fairly recent tapping. This was not a repeat. While I found him amusing as always, he didn't seen hyped up to me. Remember him at the 2004 WSOP? THAT was a man clearly coked up. He seemed much calmer and restrained in Saturday night's episode. I just thought his on camera performance was terrible. He seemed nervous didn't come off well. Just because you know poker doesn't mean you can be a color man. But he wasn't the worst that this show has had by far.
