at least I am a fan of a team that I support 100%...Can you say that about any team you are a fan of..?

Let me guess your favourite teams are
The Carolina Hurricanes
The St Louis Cardinals
Indianapolis Colts
Miami Heat
Leafs 2011-2012 North Eastern Division Champions.

I 100% hope that these teams win when they play (I have mixed emotions when the Sabres/Leafs play, I grew up in Toronto, but I've been in St. Catharines for four years, so I've been exposed to the Sabres quite a bit, and have seen a lot more Sabres games (the THN thing aside) than I have Leafs games live). Do I defend them no matter what happens? Definately not. Do I want to see all of these teams win? Definately.

1. Toronto Maple Leafs / Buffalo Sabres
2. New England Patriots
3. Toronto Raptors
4. Toronto Blue Jays

all are good except number two..Replace that with the bills and we are ok..

But as a true fan you should not desecrate the name of God's team by posting negative comments...

by the way the Jays are looking really solid....

I can't get into the Bills, dunno why. Been down to a few games, but they just don't really do it for me, I think when it comes to football I need a QB I really like. Packers are actually sitll my #1 team (have been since I was a kid) because of Favre, but when he goes I have no use for the Packers (I also liked Green who's gone as well).

The Brady/Bellichek (sp.?) combo is unbelievably sick, if it wasn't for that miracle colts drive and the Patriots d essentially collapsing I think they would have also taken care Da Bears.

I used to be a Bills die-hard, but they started annoying the hell out of me a few years back and I pretty much stopped watching football altogether.

I'll still watch 1 or 2 games per year on TV, but I don't feel any pressing need to see another Bills game live.

The local blackouts piss me off to no end as well, although that's an NFL thing, not a Bills thing I believe.

Yeah, the lean years of talented Bills teams also meant very few games on local TV, which didn't help them to keep me as a fan very much.

Pretty ridiculous when you think about it. The Bills have a stadium that seats 93,000 some odd people in one of the smallest markets for football in the country, but they blackout games in Rochester and Ontario when they don't sell out.

That rule should be changed to state that games will be blacked out if the game doesn't sell enough seats to meet a league-mandated average "sell out" number, rather than trying to fill every last seat in a house that's too large for its market (because the Bills have a greedy prick of an owner).

There is something dirty about saying you are a fan of two teams in the same league (not to mention the same division).

You know whats gets me the most about my fellow canadians

LETS HOPE A CANADIAN TEAM MAKES THE FINAL...and they cheer for the habs..

How ridicolous is this..How can you be a Leaf fan and cheer for Philly,Buffalo, New Jersey....

but cheering for the HABS is just INSANE...

I used to hate the Habs. But now that Patrick Roy is gone, the feelings have subsided over the years. I am a Detroit fan, first and foremost. After that, I would cheer for Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa and Montreal/Vancouver (still don't really like those two, not sure what order) in that order. I will never cheer for the Leafs. I would even cheer for the Avalance against the Leafs, despite my hate for them. biggrin.gif
