Muzza86 2
I am just wondering general opinion here.. In long tournaments you obviously have to have skill, patience and stamina to do well.. but in these 6 seater thunder t's which normally last about 20/30mins. where the blinds go up every 6 hands.. is this structure more down to your cards than skill? are these harder to win for good players due to alot of allin's and desperate moves? or does it benefit better players?Any input would be appreciated
aucu 3
Yes the faster the structure the greater luck component but you can overcome that by playing a large volume of these tournaments and the luck will average out.btw there is a tournament forum.
jmkiser 0
Say you can rank skill levels on a scale from 1 to 10 in a hypothetical situation. If a 9 played a 4 in a regular sng vs. a turbo sng, how much better would then 9 do in which style of sng?If a 9 played an 8 in a regular sng vs. a turbo sng, how much better would the 9 do in which style of sng? This questions brings about curiosities... we can kind of recognize the quality of player (overall) at certain limits. This sets up the question of what is the most +EV ... playing what type of sng at what level compared to what level the Hero plays at.
Zach6668 513
Turbos:Higher variance. Slightly lower winrates. But you can play a million times as many, AND multitable more efficiently since most decisions are just push-bot decisions.
