Called the flop to raise the turn.
If one play is better than the other I don't see it being much bettter. I think capping the flop or calling to raise the turn are both good plays. You probably know better than me, is villain shutting down on the turn if you cap flop?So many read based plays in sh limit. Hard to say what the best play is without actually being there.

Most villains will with just one pair.Usually, they'd need a set or two pair to put in more than one bet on each the turn and river after a cap.97% of all villains.

Then I like your line better.I haven't played sh limit in a while, so I'm not sure how aggressive the players really are.
