I'm planning a trip to Japan next year. I don't know of any poker there. Is it illegal there ? Anyone know of the closest place to play poker near there? Macao maybe? Any thoughts or experiences ?

When I was traveling through Asia I would download Party at an internet cafe and play. I would just delete it when I was done. Played some sick poker in Vietnam.

Poker is never played in casinos in Japan. Essentially, mahjong and pachinko are the main games.

pachinko is pretty lame, it's like a wanna be pin ball game where you lose money

Poker isnt illegal in Japan. Mahjong is a good game, you should try learning that.
3 reasons why you can accept all in withouth see the floop:

1. if i am 200% convinced that i am a lucky guy and i will win

2. if i have the cards in hand that i wish(diferent cases: AA; AK; ... etc)

3. if i have a so called PokerRNG program that can copy the original RNG

Just to add, I know there is skill in many forms of mahjong...my question is in regards to the mahjong played on video games in Japanese casinos.
