I check to the raiser figuring he has a big pair, he only calls the bet though, I figured my outs werent clean, so I decided to fold. Im not sure if I should be calling to see the turn, the pot is 15 small bets.. what should i have done TURN [board cards 5C,10H,4H,QC ]Botmzup checks, DuncanBomont bets $2, wsocks calls $2, Botmzup calls $2.this was one of what i thought to be one of my clean outs.RIVER [board cards 5C,10H,4H,QC,JS ]Botmzup checks, DuncanBomont bets $2, wsocks bets $4, Botmzup folds, DuncanBomont calls $2.SHOWDOWNwsocks shows [ KD,AC ]DuncanBomont mucks cards [ JD,10C ]wsocks wins $29.wouldve lost this, but did I make the right fold on the flop?anyway, today was a crazy day, ive played about 700 hands, the first 300 i had a 40xBB downswing, the second 300 I went up 53x BB so I was really up 13BB for the whole session, right now im back down a bunch, maybe 20 or so x bb..I guess its because Im very used trying to take down every pot im in, thats how it used to be when I only played 10 - 15 hands now that im reading SSHE I started playing many more hands, and its throwing me off a bit, I feel like I have to raise and checkraise with nothing this causes my swings to be pretty big, I need to learn to stop.
did i play this right?

1sthandfold 33 preflop in EP to a raise, you should tighten up with a raise in front of you preflop so best is to fold here since 33 is easily dominatedraise when you hit your set, turn also raise and try to knock people out, check/call the river2ndhandraise KQo preflop, flop raise is good but it is better to call here and check/raise the turn that way you really thin out the field but since the turn is pretty scary you should call here also check/call the river

Hand 1. (33)Pre-flop, you should have considered folding. It depends on the table, though. You should have raised the flop. The pot is already large. There are possible straight draws (I'd be most worried about someone with a gutshot having played a suited A2 or A5.) You probably could have capped the flop and possibly dragged along an idiot with top pair..Having failed to do that, you should have raised the turn. It's unlikely anyone has the straight. Now someone with two overs including an ace might draw to a 2. Someone may have picked up a flush draw.Hand 2 (KQo)Preflop, you could have raised here, if the players before you often limped with weak hands and raised with stronger ones. That is, if you hit top pair, you felt it unlikely you would be outkicked.Flop, you're not raising to thin the field, you're raising for value. The only hands that likely beat you are KJ or 77, since AK and JJ would have raised pre-flop. Turn, it was a reasonable fold. If it were only one bet, I might have considered staying on and check-calling the river, depending on how many people stay in and if I improve.I hope you noticed that the J2 was a loose player and adjusted to take advantage of it.Hand 3 (AQs)Preflop, it's a close call. If the raiser is the kind who will three bet with KQ or 99 or worse, I might cap it.The fold on the flop is the correct play. You thought you were beat, and you were and you had no reason to think you had a good draw. The cards that come later are irrelevant. Unless you think that people who call with nothing and hit runner-runner played the hand right. Of course, if those people made the right call, then you made the wrong fold on the flop.
