In the 'John Juanda' profile Daniel put up not too long ago there was a discussion about whether it was more intimidating to be stared down by Juanda or Ivey. Daniel took the side of Juanda, while many other posts with Ivey.Here are two pictures, was curious to see the results...
i saw him at the riverbank. he was breaking bread and giving thanks. with crosses made of pipes and planks. leaned up against the nitrous tanks.
he said take a hit. hold your breath and i'll dunk your head. then when you wake up, you'll be high as hell and born again.

I know that of course it is Juanda's decision, but I always wonder why he wears sunglasses at final tables. His stare is so awesome, why the heck would you want to cover it up?

It's probably a tossup, but in another thread Daniel made a good argument for JuandaIvey is more of a quiet intensity, while Juanda is simply fiercer looking (lol)
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Ivey would be scary.But Juanda I think would really make me wonder if I really wanted to do what I thought I wanted to do.

I am aware that it will not be a popular choice on this forum, but I would choose Howard Lederer over both these guys.

Juanda's stare is just sick, Its much more intimidating than Iveys.Phil's stare is just an icy glare that looks cool but just doesnt do anything for meAnd the poster that said Howard's stare is even worse almost hit that one perfect....watch some clips from the 2003 WSOP for that one

I'm gonna have to write in a vote here and go with Carlos Mortensen. Watching him on TV made me want to deal myself a hand and then fold it. Don't get me wrong, Juanda and Ivey would scare the bejeezus out of me too, but Carlos just looks more crazy when he stares.
