He's giving you good odds to make the call, and to me it smells like your check showed weakness, so a good aggressive player is making a good sized bet here. I don't see him flat calling the flop with an overpair, so my gut tells me he has Jx. Call and push if the river blanks. The only other hand I can see him have here is a set, but less likely. Not sure if he'd bet strong to protect against the backdoor flush draw that appeared on the turn.

He has a worse J (JT, QJ) that he flat called on the flop with to reevaluate later or he has QT or T8.Your check on the turn kind of indicates here that you took your stab with AK, AQ or TT and are now done with the hand. If you had one of those 3 hands that it looks like you have, and he had a set, I can't see him betting that big since you're probably drawing dead. Based on how big his bet is, I think it's much more likely he holds QT, T8, JT, QJ or KJ than it is that he has 99 or 44. He is trying to end the hand right here, which is why his bet looks so intimidating. I think that check-raising all in here is the correct move. If MP is a good aggressive player like you say, then I think this is exactly how the hand plays out.You're ahead more often than not here I think. CR all in and hope your hand holds.

That was pretty much spot on. I thought he had a weaker J, but it turned out he had and open ender. I don't often get it all in for stacks with tptk, so just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same on this hand. Thanks!Mark
