I wanted to see a turn first cus if it pairs on turn i can get away cheaply. But if i hit , he is no folding 100% of the time./ I hate poker/

I'm not familiar with Omaha odds, but is our draw favoured over a made hand (set) even with only 1 card to come?Here's a few examples:vs QQJT, we've got 25% to scoop, 31% equity.vs QQ78, we're 40% to win/equity.vs QQ34, we're 40% again.So, unless he has a straight draw as well, we've got enough to call the turn getting better than 2-1.However, when he has our flush draw, we're in trouble.vs QhQdAs4s, we're only 25%.vs QhQdKsJs, we're only 17% to win, and only 21% total equity.vs 99TJ, we're 31% equity again.I think I've covered most likely things here.At best, we're 40%, at worst we're 21%, in terms of equity going to the river.

In terms of the flop, our equity is bolded above.Our equity doesn't change a ton going to the turn in most spots, so I don't hate waiting for a non-pair turn.(This is all from CardPlayer's odds calculator, btw)

We have a lot of outs here, but the only cards I'm comfortable seeing are the 3 non-spade 8s and the 3 Ts. I'd rather not draw hoping to hit a flush with just the Ts.I usually fold on the flop, but if I'm going to play it I'd rather repot it here and try to get my money in when I have 2 chances to make my hand.Zach - You trying out Omaha now?

If you are very certain that villain only raises with set then calling could be correct because if the turn pairs then you can fold and save you money. If you hit your hand villain will still pay you off for hoping a boat on the river.In most cases I will just shove it in.One thing I hate being out of position and playing in a limping game where everyone likes to take a look at the flop is I will never know if my flush draw is good.

You should definitely try it out some time. Players are horrible. If you read the strategy guide on the forum and read through some of the hands, you should be able to beat most of the lower limit Omaha games.

I like how you played it until the turn, but I shove rather than check/call allin. The hands he is checking behind with are the hands he will be folding to a shove generally.
