It's loose play, but with position they are both somewhat playable. I don't think you need to pot the flop in either hand. 2/3 pot should have the same effect. Without any reads I think these are marginal plays.

How does your strategy change once the players start playing back at you? I know its pretty bad to slowplay in Omaha and thats why sometimes especially in shorthanded games you'd want to bet from LP when checked to. But how often are you making these moves? Are you playing the opponents or the texture of the flop?If this doesn't make since its because I got up very early this morning...

Very nice. These moves are very useful because if you do it and get away with it a couple of times in a row , original raisers lower their standards against you and when you really hit something they check-raise you with a mediocre hand. Then you really get paid off.But i am still folding both preflop even in position. I am not that confident about my post flop play yet.***BTW i hope this is somewhat relevant , you know super - aggro players who never limps only pots preflop from every position , i noticed it's a very useful and profitable move to call them in position on flop. Because they always c-bet flop and with the fact that they miss flop %75 of the time , they juct check turn and hand the pot to you.

How does your strategy change once the players start playing back at you? I will fold immediately. My stack is deep and I could afford to lose a small pot or two. But when they start playing back at me and when I really do hit then they will hand me their entire stacks. But how often are you making these moves? Not every hand though of course, when I've established a big stack and when I've sensed their fear in me and when I observed that they were being weak at the moment. Are you playing the opponents or the texture of the flop? Both. The reasons I was calling preflop were because my immediate left was multitabling and I have sensed him that he's not the one who will play any four cards preflop even when he's in position in a raised pot especially against an aggressive player as me, and he's kind of tight. Then most players there were loose preflop then weak-tight post flop. The last reason I was potting on the flop was because of the nature of the pairing flop, they either had the boat or trip or they would fold because they had the knowledge of not drawing on the paired board. When they called or raised then I would just give it up but of course it depends also on many other factors, the point is, as bud said, if they dared to play back at me on a paired board with some kind of draw when I have a real hand then they will lose their stacks because they are committed. Most players can't fold but I can (I've committed less than they had because I was in position) and that's the difference.

Then you really get paid off.Bingo, I've lowered many players' standard against me after a few small pots exchange, then when I hit they will pay me off.But i am still folding both preflop even in position. I am not that confident about my post flop play yet.You should really give a 200 6-max a try, you are good enough. You are a thinking player, most of them are not.***BTW i hope this is somewhat relevant , you know super - aggro players who never limps only pots preflop from every position , i noticed it's a very useful and profitable move to call them in position on flop. Because they always c-bet flop and with the fact that they miss flop %75 of the time , they juct check turn and hand the pot to you.yep I agree. Btw I don't pot from every position and I fold most hands utg/utg+1. Sometimes I just called in button too, why raised it when I already have the button in an unraised pot with junk hands? With small pot in position it increases my fe post flop as well. The final thing is my aggressive play is also controlled aggression, I have to frequently remind myself I am walking at the line of fire. Overly aggressive means moron and chip-spewing. The more chips I have the more aggressive I am. The trick is, when I just sit down I won't do this stuff early on because most players won't give a sht about you when they don't know you. But after a while when I build my stack up and establish my image, then I will be playing more aggresively and loosely and money come faster. It's just the nature, think about business, when you just start a business, it's hard and it takes time and effort at the beginning, but once you hang on to it with hard works and some lucks, things will smooth out and wealth will accumulate faster and faster.Good luck.

I agree, most of the time 2/3 will be effective. But I was aiming at their entire stacks, I wanted them to think of me as being a moron so that when I hit I will catch big. My stack covers all of them almost like twice so I could afford so whacky plays. :D My dream situation is when I know someone raising with AA while I am at the button calling with 2222, then on the flop I pot and show them my junks. :D But such a situation never occurs. :club:

I have to frequently remind myself I am walking at the line of fire. Let me amend above a bit. Because of my aggressive play so even though when I've the best of it bad beat can still happen. You have to be able to control yourself for not tilting when sht happens. My villain got me a bad beat in the following hand (earlier than the hands in my first post). But eventually he went broke giving the money to the other players then I took them back.By the way, the reason I was repotting on the BB preflop is because my two villains were having short stacks.
