I'm in a rebuy right now and we're 45 minutes into it. The top 30 stacks are 20k through 50k. How the heck do people get stacks that big? How lucky to you have to be to get that many big wins and build up to that high of a stack? It seems nuts.So what's the highest stack you've had after the first hour?

I've had a 40k stack after an hour. It's really not that hard if you have a table full of blind-pushers. Just need to get to like 15k and then win a race against another big stack, then win a couple smaller pots and you've got 40-50k.

Nemo222 and I had 120k, and 70k respectively after first hour in our 10rebuy about month back that was a unreal table.

Most for me is 52,000 I am the guy at your table that is pushing almost every other hand. I don't mind spending those extra buy ins to give myself a big stack.I'm most comfortable having around 20,000+ after the first hour. Anything lower than that and I don't even feel like playing.

It honestly doesn't matter that much. I try to gamble it up early and get some chips. If I haven't achieved this, I'm pushing with any two cards withing a minute of the break. I can either double up or have the max chips with the add on. 5000 chips with the blinds at 100/200 is pretty healthy in relation to the blinds and you can still build a stack to go deep.

actually i think hes talking about nemostars22 whom had won the 55k guaranteed one night and the next night had 232k at the end of the rebuy period. Only a 180k lead on second place. That is the most amazing thing i have ever seen.

i had a 100k plus stack at the end of the first hour in a rebuy once and didnt even cash
