Guys, what do you make more money off of? Live game or Tournament/SNG?What seems to be easier for you guys to profit? I've been experimenting this and I find it quite hard to defeat the live action game, even with a decent bankroll. However, my tournament play is well lit, especially the SNG. I guess when i play LIMIT LIVE 5/10, the power of bluffing is taken away. YOU CANNOT bluff them, they will call you with lowest pair, hell they'll raise you with it. And it's tough to be in that situation with a big hand. It's strange... but let me know your thoughts.I know I know, everyone says live play is where the money is, but so far it's not for me. Strangely, I guess I've been a born tournament player.

I have won a LOT of SNG tables and played in some 1/4/8/8 limit holdem. I dont have an accurate count, but if i had to guess it would be close to 50-60 tournaments in 6 months(the irs is gonna have fun with me). In the live limit holdem game i am down about $300.00. You are absolutely right about people calling you with anything. You ask the question is there a way you can slow down your game for the limits going up in the main event. Well playing a lot less hands is one way. The marginal hands you play in your home game will work about half the time in the main event as more and more people will be looking at premium hands to bust people with. Another way is to maybe cut out a very small slice of the agression you play with in your home game. A few less bets before the turn might be in order and slow playing a little more will slow your game down and aquire you a lot of chips. Keep in mind though slow playing too much is a VERY BAD thing. If you slow play too much you give your opponent a chance to draw out on you in the hand. Other than that bring you a walkman or a cd player with a good amount of cd's. I have played the main event before and i can tell you there have been times in the early days i had probably caught 2 or 3 good hands the whole day. Have faith in your game and we will see you in vegas. Scott Kendall
