newbie 0
My first post here, and I was a passive reader until Al Gore's topic came up. I like Al Gore. I think he could've made a wonderful president. He made two big mistakes in running for his last presidency. He had Lieberman as his running mate and he refused to have Clinton get involve in his campaign. He was deftly afraid of Clinton's sexual liason tainting his campaign and he tried to distance himself from Clinton as much as possible. That was a big mistake. Secondly, I could never understand his choice as a running mate. Lieberman????!!!! Not only is he a moderate, but he was the worst choice as far as running mate is concerned.Last report says that whatever progress made by Clinton administration in preserving the environment has been wiped out by Bush's relentless lack of regard for the environment. He overturned 50 years environmental laws all for the sake of big corporation. Essentially Bush is ruining this country and not enough good people to stand up to him.Gore/Obama would make a fantastic team. It is too bad Gore decided not to run. This country needs Gore, and he may need to reconsider.
chrozzo 19
to ge tthe word out...he could have programmed into the internet a forced popup with his list of accomplishments and his statements...he can do that right, he has some control over it the net would think, he invented it for crying out loud
Balloon guy 158
I think the OP made some good points about Gore losing the elction. It was pretty much his to lose, and he lost it.I like Lieberman though, so I disagree that he was a bad choice. But the most important thing to remember is that after 5 recounts..Gore LOST. Everytime he lost.It wasn't stolen from him, the republicans didn't take it, the Supreme Court didn't appoint Bush the winner. Gore lost, everytime they counted. And that's even after the democrats threw out 19K votes from service men and women serving their country overseas, but the military was a little slow getting the ballots to Florida so the demoncrats just DISENFRANCHISED the military. And now that Algore is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, Rush Limbaugh is also nominated, so Gore's going to lose again!Gore = loser
Muck, You Suckers! 0
Ummmm scuze me. But Gore wasn't in the "last election". Gore was in the election before last. Kerry lost last election.

Balloon guy 158
Her censorship rants, raves, and actions are an atrocity.Like I said, of the Clinton/Gore team, she was the best one

Balloon guy 158
You support atrocities? This is a called a straw man. Just because you claim she committed atrocities, doesn't make that true. So therefore I do not have to support atrocities in order to like Tipper.Next week we will work on puncuation
jmkiser 0
Oh, so witty and clever.I'm assuming you haven't discussed anything with me before so obvious sarcasm and teasing probably... well, isn't that obvious to you.Tell me, why do you support her fighting attempts at censorship?and about medont worrywe wont be working on punctuation anytime soonmy thoughts are clear
tater nuts 0
You are all wrong! It wasn't about his running mate, his wife, how he debates, or his decision to exclude Clinton from his campaign. Al Gore lost the election because America thought that Bush would be a better person to drink a beer with.

I try to keep from being nasty and I expect the same. So am I suppose to argue that she wants censorship, or she's fighting attempts at censorship? I'm not sure which. But if Frank Zappa and John Denver were for it, I'm pretty sure I was against it.
jmkiser 0
My apologies on clarification... Why do you support her ideals of censorship? and I pray it has nothing to do with John Denver or Frank Zappa... or Twisted Sister for those matters.

Why do you support her ideals of censorship? and I pray it has nothing to do with John Denver or Frank Zappa... or Twisted Sister for those matters. That's right, I forgot Twisted Sister. Good stuffHer wanting to have a label on a record saying that their is foul language isn't censorship. Anymore than not letting the foul language on the radio or the television is.The 'Everything is art' crowd are nuts. My son went to an Art school, during his graduation ceremony he told us that only two years ago did they finally make it a rule that you had to wear some clothes to graduation. No more streaking was allowed. Forgive me but giving people the right to do anything, and calling it art is just hedonism.
jmkiser 0
I'm not part of the "everything is art" group.I'm part of the morality is relative group.I, actually, want to hear adult humor on the radio ... see adult content on tv ...I'm also part of the freedom group :PAnd a person walking across a graduation stage naked would be amusing! Of course, probably just to me, though.

DanielNegreanu 141
More people in this country voted for Gore. He actually won Florida, but was cheated out of the presidency by the most evil administration this country has ever seen. George W. Bush should be tried for war crimes. I hate him. I really, really, hate him in every sense of the word. He is a scumbag, dirtbag, lying, stubborn, scoundrel. He should be spit on, not praised. This isn't a Republican/Democrat issue, this is a George W. Bush vs. the World issue. It sickens me to know that he is the president of this country. He reminds me of Logan from 24.... Little different when you put a face to the nakedness. So you don't believe in anything?Haha, you don't know me that well... Rosie ODonnel is uglier then shi*, but I would think it HILARIOUS... I would then (and deservedly for her) boo, laugh, ridicule, etc. her.Morality is different between people... we like to think there is a list of moral bases, but there isn't and that's completely fine. In other societies, eating people is ok. In our society, it's not... no biggie, nothing to get up in arms about... and things like adult content are accepted in this country just fine.People have the freedom to do what they want as long as they don't impede on the freedoms of others. And not seeing a human being naked is not a freedom of someone else but we are perfectly free to respond to someone who gets naked! God, especially Rosie O'DonnelAnd Daniel... damnnn I know the popular vote was for Gore, but ... just ... wow I do understand how you feel, though... even the whole scumbag, dirtbag, lying, stubborn, scoundrel part.... maybe ::coughcough:: the people ::cough:: should ::cough:: take back control.LP.org
