Call, Raise, Or Fold

I played in windsor this saturday night/sunday morning. I was waiting for a seat in 100 max and decided to play 3/6 instead of BJ(+EV ). i ran 100 into 200 and decided to put my name down 2/5 200 max...which of course came up before the 100 maxI build my stack to about 1k-1100...avg stack at table is prob around 750 with chip leader at some crazy amount like 3k or something. but she is extremely tight player who makes large bets at least the size of the pot...ALWAYS...when she bets. Does not get out of line, she had roughly the saem amount when I sat down as she does now.I have A2 diamonds in CO, about 4 limpers in front of me I limp. The 3k stack makes it 30 to go from the SB, everyone calls, so im like fk i guess i have to call...flop j105 with 2 diamonds...she leads out for 150, folded to me.She prob has QQ or KK, since I have an ace less likely she has AA...If I push or raise I do not know if she will lay down or not. But she would probably call. Im thinking I am either drawing to 9 or 12 outs, but if I call and an ace comes on turn and she leads for pot I OBV have to lay it down...So you can fold because your not getting immeidate pot odds to call, call because of implied odds with the deepstacks...or raise on the come hoping for a fold with 9-12 outs if you get called...thoughts...??

How tight is this player? Will she fold QQ-AA if a 9 or 7 hits the turn? How about AA or KK on a QJT board? If I think I can push the person off a big pair if a good bluff cards hit, I call and then lose a huge amount of chips on an unnecessary and wreckless bluff.

the problem with the flush draw is that if she is a good player you probably are not going to get her stack, you might if she has a set but probably not if she is really good. If we are closing the action I think you have to call though...

I would call the flop, with the intention of raising the turn if the baord pairs or a straight card comes off. If she bets a diamond, I'll flat call and overbet the river to make it look like a bluff. You have 9-12 pure outs, but you also have a tooon of bluffing outs against this player. So I'm flat calling with the intention of raising a LOT of turns.Wang

Are you like always on the verge of busting or doubling up in this game? My grandpa's local indian casino has a 2/5 200 max game..I freaking buyin for $200 in a 1/2 game and feel short stacked sometimes.

I like what shimmering wang said. You have position in this hand and are agaiant a villian who seems to know what she is doing. We are calling this flop not just to hit our diamond but to represent any hand that may get her to lay down KK. Of course our best case scenario is if a diamond hits and we can win a big pot, however we have loads of bluff outs. Also to consider is that if she has JJ or TT then we are in loads of trouble if the board pairs and she will also likely not be able to fold if a straight card hits, so caution must also be exersized here. It is an interesting hand against this villian and i would also say that folding on the flop is also a fine play.

err at the begining id say yes...when you have 750 behind, then no. But when this particular player entered a pot for a raise, you KNOW she is making a pot sized + continuation bet, then i knew id be risking my stack potentially. Many pots were played with a 20-30$ raise and a CB and fold tho...
