I agree with Sefaje. You need to bet of course however if you face any aggression your AA is toast. Why limp preflop? If you have an image if being very loose then take advantage of it and play your AA fast. Slowplaying AA when you have a loose image kind of contradicts what you are trying to do by establishing this image.

ABSOLUTELY, there is nothing greater than having raised 3 hands in a row and then looking down at AA. Why get cute here? Afraid of not getting action? Limping in this spot is asking for trouble, your better off raising the hand like youve got 49s and hope you get reraised.Look at your image. You have done what? Played loose aggressive so far right? raising everyones blind? What is the best case scenario for you with AA? your image pays off and nobody gives you credit for a hand. "This guys a freakin maniac, he cant have a hand every time!' Thats what they are thinkin and then boom............FWATCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAA.they are sitting there getting stacked and on tilt while your raking their cash. Its a good life.

if your viewed as the loosest player at the table, why on earth would you go for a limp/raise. raise pf and since your so loose you will get repopped by a smorgasboard of hands.

I would bets 10, and then goes from there.... The only problem is that any card over a 10 and any diamond is going to kill you. If you get more than 1 or 2 callers you are going to have to shut down. What position are you at the table?UTG +1?

I'm UTG +1.Sorry about not responding last night. I played about 18 hours of poker and was exhausted. I got invited to a poker tournament by some of my father's work friends who had never played before. We walked in and there were five stacks of chips for each person already on the table that totalled 13750 starting chips with 30 minute blind levels starting at 25-50. They thought they were required to use every chip in their chip case. Needless to say, it wasn't a huge advantage to the new players.Okay, back to the live game...why did I limp? The reason I limped is because I'm an idiot. Seriously. I just picked up KK and broke a woman and then I picked up AA on the next hand, got super excited like Tommy Boy playing with his new toy and I made a stupid play. That said, there's a player here that makes it six to go in almost every hand he enters. He's a good player that picks up a lot of decent sized pots by doing that and I take a lot of hands by re-raising after he builds the pot and I've either limped in or have position. Also, with my image, if I limp and he makes it six and gets a few callers, I can bump it back up and still get called by AT.I know I made the wrong play preflop, but it wasn't completely without reason. This just happened to be one of the rare hands where he limped instead of raised. :club:

Does anyone have a problem with a check-fold line here?
Yes. Considering I'd bet this flop with AJ, QJ, QT, Qx, AT, K9, etc, as well as sets, flush draws, straights, you are probably giving a little up by check/folding.

To reiterate what everyone is saying...You CANT limp in with AA considering your image. One thing ive noticed from most loose aggressive players is that when they limp...they have a MONSTER. You say everyone limped behind...well most players arent gonna notice and put you on a big hand, but good players are. When you play this style that your playing play EVERYTHING hard and fast. :club:

Well, for anyone who needs closure, I tried to obey my 2006 New Years Resolution (one that I didn't observe very carefully all of 2006):If I play two cards like rags preflop, I muck them like rags post.I decided I didn't want to get involved in a big pot with AA OOP on a KJT board. It checked around to the button, the best player at the table, and he bet out 9. Both blinds called. In retrospect, I should've raised here because it's literally impossible for the button to have a hand that beats me here and the blinds are most likely on draws. Instead, I tossed the aces. MP also called. The turn was a 3 and the river was an 8. The button bet big on each street and MP called him down. MP flipped up J7 for the winner. As for why I didn't raise preflop. Well, obviously, I screwed up. If I make it my typical six or seven, everyone calls me anyway and then I have to bet-fold that flop, but that's being to results-oriented for this particular hand. Ideally, I limp, someone raises, I re-raise and one of the many calling stations that doesn't ever believe me comes along. In that scenario, I get to bet-fold a much bigger pot. ;)Thanks for the responses!

I probably raise the flop, but I do occasionally get caught up in hands like this and lose my stack. Maybe I should look at some hand histories and see how I do in this sort of situations.
