Ok, anyone care? and second of all that is not the worst bad beat ever, or possible. He had two chances to catch a one outter. I was heads up with Ax flop came AA9 and he had 97 and caught running nines, that is more unlikely, 989 to one to be exact. I shrugged it off and moved on. Complaining about a bad beat is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but it doesn't accomplish anying. Poker is not about winning pots, it is about making good players, nobody seems to understand this."You don't get paid to win pots, you get paid to make the right play."

where in my post am I complaining? I am just stating the hand I feel it is a pretty bad beat considering i raised 600 pre flop and he calls with J9 of diamonds. If this was your forum, I would understand your reply but since this is a poker forum, i figured i could post it and have people's reaction, i would like to find out who else has faced a similar bad beat, thats all.

In the rankings of bad beats, this might not be the worst possible one there is, but it has to be up there on the list of worst bad beats received by ANY of the forum posters. I have had many a bad beat, but never with quads to a straight flush, especially with the pre-flop raise. I feel your pain. And please continue to post these, as that IS why this section of the forum is here. Ignore what GTKID says. Not sure why he is commenting like he has.

Actually, this was first posted in the General Poker section before it was moved to the Bad Beat section by the moderators. Regardless, ignoring GTKID is still a good idea.

Don't ignore him, just ignore that comment he made.
