Just curious how you guys play Ace, Rag from different positions.Lets say A-8 and worse... I Limp from anywhere if they're suited, and hope to see a cheap flop.Closer to the button, I occasionally raise. Not suited, I fold from early or middle position (even late position)If its folded to me on the button, I will raise trying to steal.Inside the blinds, I will complete, or check.Thoughts?edit: No Limit is the game.

I fold a-rag offsuit in any position, no questions asked (Unless I'm in the BB obviously).Suited, I'll limp with them from middle-late position, complete in the blinds.

A-x offsuit sucksAgain...A-x offsuit sucksI will complete with A8 or A9 because the 8 or 9 has a decent chance of improving to something useful, but that's it
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Ace-rag should be played for two pair, and never top pair. If you are hell-bent on playing them, bet them hard when the Ace hits, and back off to any action. You really are playing for 2 pair, or the rare TPTK that Ace-rag sometimes provides. Suited Ace-rag obviously allows for the nut flush.I usually toss unsuited Ace-rag in NL ring games from just about any position (I don't play high enough limits to justify stealing the blinds with them). I'll call 2 BB's with them just for the implied odds.

For me it all depends on my position and the number of players at the table. If im playing a 10 person tourney, i play pretty tight, I even folded A J facing a raise and a re-raise. So yea as far as limping in out of position I wouldnt do that cuz you might get caught in a raise so i really dont play it, unless the tourney's down to 3 people then A top pair is pretty boss and if you bet modestly you should scare off any draw or you'll be able to gauge if someone has the nuts.

You got most of it...limp w/ A-x suited, A-middle can be played in later positions if folded around to you, but remember this...your other card getting paired probably won't make you the best hand. You may be drawing to a 3 outer pre-flop in order for you to feel safe to continue with the hand after the flop. If you want to steal blinds with it fine, but make sure the blinds are big enough to be worthwhile to steal with them. I play in a pretty regular .25/.50 NL game at a dorm on campus and even if I think I can steal the blinds I don't. I'd rather not pick up the .75 than get myself caught in a sticky situation and lose a good amount of my stack.
