OK Gang the 2007 Negreanu Open leaderboard website is now up and running at:http://www.negreanuopen.comI applogize for the few week delay in getting this up as I was in Tunica for the WSOP and then a couple weeks of vacation.As of right now the main page along with the FAQ pages are up so you should be able to get answers to just about any question you may have about the 2007 season.The leaderboard has not been updated as of yet, but should be updated with the last 3 weeks tournies by the end of this week if all goes to plan.Unfortunately with the new FCP software there is not a nice tournament summary page where I can pull the info and update the leaderboard with so my hands are tied awaiting a manual email from FCP for the results. This could delay the results being posted for up to a week after each tournament so I appreciate everyones patience in that regard.------------------------------------------------------The 2007 season will be pretty much ran exactly like the 2006 season with a few minor changes.Every week there will still be a $100 bonus money overlay where 1st place will receive $50, 2nd place will receive $30, and 3rd place will receive $20.Every week there will also be a random drawing where one person will win 2500 FCP points which can be used for anything in the FCP Store.The top 9 cumulative points winners for both the mixed league and the regular nlhe league will play in championship SnG where Daniel Negreanu will play in the 10th spot. The winner of that tourny will receive $200 in real money.The top 2 cumulative points winners for both the mixed league and the regular nlhe league will receive a custom Fullcontactpoker Hockey jersey with their choice of username and number on the back.3rd - 9th place in cumulative points for each quarter will receive 7500 FCP points in their accounts to be used for anything in the FCP Store.The top 9 each quarter will also advance to the year end Tournament of Champions (TOC) where the winner will win the grand prize which is a 1 hour phone consultation/coaching session from Daniel Negreanu himself! There will be a Tuesday night mixed league grand prize winner and a Wednesday night NLHE grand prize winner.------------------------------------------------------A couple other important notes that I know everyone has been awaiting:I realize we have not had the 3rd quarter Championship SnG, 4th Quarter Championship SnG, and the year end Tournament of Champions. Daniel has been on a tournament frenzy as of late and scheduling these with him as been difficult, but rest assured they will be held and I will post the details in this thread once they are available.Also regarding the winners for the 4th quarter. Since we only were able to hold 5 of the scheduled 13 tournaments we will be awarding the top 9 of both the Mixed League and the Regular Wed night league 5000 FCP points to their accounts which can be used to purchase anything in the FCP Store. After reading thru the "fine print"....gotta few questions hereDoes the "bonus money" go into the account as usable cash or is it something that has to be cleared? I'm sure that it has to be real cash due to the small amount.... but just making sure.I just strolled down the isles at the "FCP Store" and only found a deck of USED casino cards and a small trinket that looks to be from a (5 cent) gumball machine for less than 2500 points. So wait... If the cards are $1.59 for 1149 points, wouldn't that make 2298 points = $3.18? How are you getting $25 from this?? ....It's because I'm a charter member, isn't it?

I might have figured it all out....OK...Deck of cards actually cost ......................... $1.59 X 2 = $3.18104 cards are mailed two per envelope at .39 postage...... $20.28Taxes............................................................................ $1.54Total for two decks of cards................... $25.00We're actually getting $25 in merchandise for just 2,298 points instead of 2,500!!!!And free envelopes!!!!

The only flaw in your arguement is the bolded section. You have to assume that each deck of cards contains 2 Jokers, as well as the rules card, and that other useless card talking about the company that makes and distributes the cards, making a total of 112 cards.The free envelopes are pretty sweet though.

LOL I guess if you wanna look at it that way.Regarding the value of points you can get an FCP hat for around 3000 points and FCP shirts start around 2500 FCP points. Before the random drawing was for a hat/shirt, but it took alot of logistics to get the winner, the info, mail the item, etc etc. So for simplicity we just put 2500 points in your account and you can buy what you want. ITS A FREE RANDOM PRIZE!Also the other thing to remember is we are running a full set of prizes on both nights now in essence doubling the number of prizes, random drawings, bonus overlay, etc.Again guys this is a $10+$1 tourney that is meant to be a fun thing for the forum and Daniel and his team have stepped up pretty big in my opinion to offer all these weekly, quarterly, and yearly prizes so I hope everyone appreciates it and has a good time this season, I know I will.
