mikeysong 0
don't you think a 5 or 9 or trips check-raises me?
Zach6668 513
don't you think a 5 or 9 or trips check-raises me?Probably, but that doesn't mean it's a bet.For it to be a bet, at least one of two things has to happen:(1) He needs to call with worse hands.(2) He needs to fold better hands. If he doesn't do any of this, then there is no value in a bet.Sure, I could see a worse ace call here. I don't think we ever fold a pair though. Like I said, if anything, it's ultra thin.

Zach6668 513
I don't bluff with T high or anything like that. Randoms do.I do call with Ax, sometimes. Randoms also call with Ax, but they bet with a ton more.

Zach6668 513
And I still say he bets more hands you beat than he calls with, and I really don't think it's close.

Zach6668 513
zach, i am Super Man!No, it's ok. I'm retarded. Now, if we were OOP, then apply my analysis would be hot.Pretty sure I check behind here like 99% of the time though.
iggymcfly 0
Don't listen to the haters mikey, this is a definite value bet. The fact that the bottom card paired eliminates one of his most likely passive holdings makes ace high far and away the most likely remaining option. I think your AQ will get paid off regularly here. CoranMoran 0
let me ask you thisaren't you calling this river with Ax hands? When against an UTG preflop raiser, I see my Ax hands beating very little. In BB's position, I do not call the river with a missed Ace-rag.Actually, I fold the turn ui.I would love to value bet my AQ here if I believed a decent Villain would often call with less.I don't believe they would. So I don't value bet 5th street.don't you think a 5 or 9 or trips check-raises me?Sure, on the river --CM
