dynamic1 0
Just a heads up...for anyone considering playing on this site, DONT! I have been playing on this site for about a week, really liked it until yesterday. I have been mainly playing 100 and 200 sit and go's. yesterday, I was playing in a 200 sit n go, and was disconnected. I checked my connections, and everything was good on my end. I was out for about 10 minutes. When I came back, my stack was down from 1450 to 200. four places paid, and I soon went our in fourth. Since small disconnections have happenned before on pacific, only occuring for about a minute, I thought maybe it was just a freakish thing. I emailed support to see what they would do. In the meantime, I signed up for another one. Get down to heads up, have a 4-1 chip lead, and then...Disconnected. By the time it comes back, I of course finished second. Sent another email...waited about 4 hours sat down and played another. Yep disconnected again. again got back online and went out in fourth. So..I had read on a couple of other sites different threads about there connection problems. I was really curios to hear what they had to say. I sent a third email to support detailing each one of the tournaments and asking for my entry fee back. I just got a reply back from them, saying...of course...its my fault and that there is nothing they can do about it. From my perspective, this is terrible customer service. I also play on full tilt, paradise, ub, and pokerstars. I have never had a connection problem with any of them. And, any problems that I did have, were rectified in a very proffessional manner from those sites. All I can say is, take it from me, DO NOT PLAY THERE!f shady online sites
digitalmonkey 929
Is Norton Antivirus running while you play? That can cause problems sometimes on some sites.

Beowulf 0
Pacific is notorious for their disconnects. Of course when you contact them, 90% of the time they will blame YOU. I was playing at my usual $5/10 table with wired Aces on the button, I raise and it ends up getting capped with 3 players. Flop is all rags, BB bets out I raise and he re-raises me back. At this point I lose my connection. I am now furious at home. I finally get re-connected and the BB says he only had AK, I let him know I had AA and did not intend to "fold", he then al least said "sorry". I contacted Pacific and they did at least re-fund all monies I put in that pot. They have also re-funded SNG and tourney buy-ins. Overall, I'm also sick and tired of their weak software and now just play at Party, UB and occasionally Doyle's.One other item to be careful about at Pacific is the "hot keys", F, C, R. Nothing like chatting to someone and raising your 8-3os brom EP just because you typed a word with an "r" in it while it happened to be your turn. This is supposed to be "addressed" with their next software update.
