I noticed that he made to threads exactly the same. What's your problem?
Don't you think he knows that he made two posts? If you read the other one, it says he posted in the wrong forum. You don't ahve to be an *** about it.

Did you consider that he may have edited his post after I pointed out the dupe? He obviously edited the other post. I why do you call me an *** when all that I did was post the link for the other thread and you come in all high and mighty telling me to **** off? I didn't say anything to you or about you.Go pick a fight somewhere else.

Really? I like the raise preflop. Postflop is pretty read dependent.
Bleh, I guess it could go either way.If I don't raise it UTG though, I don't know why I'd want to raise it from the SB.However, I guess I could get down with it if we knew the BB to be tight.

Bingo. Without that read, don't raise this from the SB. It's just bloating a pot from OOP with a hand that plays better HU or multiway. Also, if you're going to bet the flop and turn, you're usually going to want to call this super tame river on the end. Seriously, a lot of this is going to depend on reads though. What kind of hands has Button been open-limping in that spot? Does he like to float in position? Does he bluff much?I mean, we're likely beat...but it makes very little sense for him to value-betting that river without a K or 9. A King doesn't particularly make sense with how passively he's played it. A 9 doesn't make much sense either if he's played it so passively to that point. People that passive don't usually make that value-bet. It's a pretty stupid bet on his part with any other pair. To be honest, I probably call this and expect to see QJ/QT/JT pretty frequently.OP, gotta give us some semblance of reads on hands like this next time.

If the button folds preflop you raise this all day long correct?

The reason I raised this is to get it HU. And as far as being OOP, bluffs actually work better if you're the first one to get money in the pot.Typical bodog player is not getting tricky hear. Loose Passive morons. But i have no reads b/c I just sat down. On a semi-related note, do PT and GT+ work on bodog? My br is finally healthy enough to buy it.I really wouldn't be surprised to see 44 here. I don't think they float flop and turn river with absoulte garbage.

Right...which is why BB rarely folds in this spot. By not inflating the pot, we're actually in much better position to "steal" it post-flop. I'm not saying I hate a raise...I just think that you need to have reads and be quite comfortable post-flop to do it.Also, they do work with Bodog, but you need to get a program called DogWatch Handgrabber.
