Not the worst beat, but the way it happened was pretty crazy:So I was doing pretty well in a $150, 110 person NL tournament at River Rock casino in Vancouver, down to the last 12.Blinds are 1000-2000, 200 antes, 2 tables of 6. I've got about 14,000 in chips, 4th on my table. I'm big blind with K :) J :club: . a guy with 15,000 raises to 4000, everyone folds to me.There's 8200 in the pot so I pay the extra 2000 to see the flopflop K :club: J :D 9 :D I check, he says "all in", and before I can call, the dealer deals the turn card, the A :) . (the dealer thought he said check)We call the pit boss over, he says that they'll deal the river card as the turn card, shuffle the ace of spades back into the deck, and then deal a new river card.So I call, the other guy shows A :club: 3 :club: , he was trying to steal the pot. They the deal the river card as the turn - A :club: . Wow, I think, he would have gone runner runner trip aces to beat me...Then they shuffle the deck, and deal the new river card, you guessed it, the very same A :D !
