MasterLJ 0 Posted April 4, 2005 Share Posted April 4, 2005 I look down at Queens and seriously think about mucking them, although I know I can't in the long run.It's been a bad bad bad bad week for QQ.On the plus side, they finally redeemed themselves yesterday.In a 20 dollar heads-up SNG, I get QQ about the 3rd hand. I like to slow play monster pre-flop hands just for value (only got burned once so far and have had many more successes).The flop comes down J 7 10 rainbow. Dude goes all-in. I've had 2 other hands to make a read on this guy, which hasn't been very good. I'm feeling like making a stupid call, and I do. Dude flips over the nuts (8 9 for those who don't know). I begin to sob uncontrollably as the turn is an 8, and the river is a 9. My tears dry up, and I thank the ladies for giving me the Q high straight. Link to post Share on other sites
