Yoda 1
Bastards! I hate that frieken commercial so much! I know I'm not alone...-------------------------------------Dear Chevrolet,I just thought you should know, your "This is our Country" ad is over-advertised more then ANY other commercial in the history of television. Every single frieken commercial break of most sporting events that god damn song! You have GOT to be kidding me.It isn't even a good commercial, it's an annoying song that is bothersome after 1 or 2 listens. In closing, I will NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a vehicle associated with your god forsaken company. I base this solely on your commercial, which forces me to mute the TV at least 2-3 times per night. Sometimes 7-10. That, is ridiculous.-----------------------------------------Dear Mr. T----,Thank you for contacting us recently regarding the "This is our Country" advertisement. This isn't a complaint, it's a thinly veiled commercial!)j/k dudeEdit: All the hummer stuff was posted while I was posting. Here's a site, it doesn't show my EXACT views, but it will give you an idea about how I feel about Hummers. I love HMMWV's, but civilian Hummers can kiss my ass.

brvheart 1,768
I have a Tivo, that does not solve the problem for several obvious reasons.I can't think on any. I have a TIVO and I never watch commercials, unless I want to.
Dogpatch 2
I can't think on any. I have a TIVO and I never watch commercials, unless I want to.What if you're watching the show live? I don't have a Tivo so I don't know.
brvheart 1,768
What if you're watching the show live? I don't have a Tivo so I don't know.I'm smart enough to not watch live TV. It's a time waster. When I have a 1/2 hour show coming on, I don't even start watching it until 10 after. Football is the best, just start watching the game an hour late, and a three hour game becomes 2 hours.
jeff_536 3
Notice how there are no scenes of playing poker in those commercials... So poker isn't part of yoooooourrrrrrr couuuuuuntry...You think the government got to GM?
Yoda 1
I can't think on any. I have a TIVO and I never watch commercials, unless I want to.Sigh...well then let me list you a few just off the top of my head.Situation 1) You aren't sitting there every second in front of the TV with your hand on the mute/fast forward button so you can pounce the second a commercial comes on (often, this commercial).Situation 2) You got up to get another beer or are engaged in whatever else within sound range of the TV but not the vicinity of the remote.Situation 3) You are at a bar watching the game (This happened to me last night actually and I had to listen to that fkin commercial blasting in surround sound)Situation 4) You are at someone else's house
Ron_Mexico 4,238
I'm smart enough to not watch live TV. It's a time waster. When I have a 1/2 hour show coming on, I don't even start watching it until 10 after. Football is the best, just start watching the game an hour late, and a three hour game becomes 2 hours.I totally agree with this except for the bolded parts. Just kidding. But no, I will not watch tv shows live. I start a 1/2 hour show 12 minutes late at least and an hour show 20 minutes late. (1/2 hour shows are 20 minutes and hour shows are usually 41 minutes long)I cannot watch sports on delay. I think is lessons the drama. I prefer watching it live. I tried it once back in the day with a baseball game and I found myself fast forwarding through the commercials, then between pitches. Then I was missing some pitches because of bad timing and just realized I had no patience for it. Live (on tv) is better for sports watching.
