How Bad Am I

Little background on this hand. This was the 4th hand in a row I had raised, but hadnt played much with this player. Everyone at the table was playing pretty tight.Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is UTG+1 with 9 9 UTG folds, Hero raises to t15500, MP1 folds, CO raises to t55000, 3 folds, Hero calls t39500 (pot was t84750).Because of my activity prior to this i was going to do a stop and go if the flop came down favorably.Flop: Q Q 8 (t124250, 2 players)Hero checks, CO checks.I was thinking "if he checks behind here im done with the hand"Turn: 2 (t124250, 2 players)Hero checks, CO checks.River: 3 (t124250, 2 players)Hero checks, CO bets t30000, Hero calls t30000 (pot was t154250).Results:Final pot: t184250and yet again I make a final table only to come up short. ouwuosfdouhowafidfjsadf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Umm? Stack sizes?Blind level?Why didn't push the flop if you want to make a stop&go? stop&go means pushing any flop, and this even is a very favorable flop for you imo.Bad beat forum?

Stack sizes and blinds are certainly necessary here, but I don't think I like the call of the big raise OOP. We also need to know how many people are at the table. More info next time, and delete your comment at the bottom of your post.

With someone that you have no Idea how he/she plays.. I'd prob limp here and see what the other players do... if he has a BIG pair here or AK, AQ, KQ If he does any Kind of heavy betting leaving myself an escape hatch.... Any two overs is a coin flip and any Pair higher have u crushed.... here its more about moving up a spot or two increasing you chip stack while pickin your spots

sorry, the converter didnt display stack sizes. I was about 115K before the hand. Other player had me covered with about 200K. Everyone else had between 80-140K with 7 players left. I made a bad play, thats all there is too it. I shouldnt have even posted the handI didnt think it through well enough. I put almost half my stack in preflop oop when i didnt have to. Then didnt rethink the hand on the river and made a crying call. Just bad.

i wouldnt say it was bad play.. just a more riskier line of bad
