Was it just prestige or was their cash involved or did he get a free subscription to Cardplayer?

I say prestige and maybe a trophy or plaque of some sort. A subscription to CardPlayer is totally unnecessary. After winning over 4 million for the entire year in tournaments, I'd think Daniel could afford a lifetime subscription to Cardplayer. Not to mention he writes for the magazine, which probably means he already recieves free subscription.

I think I read somewhere that the PoY gets a free entry to the 10k buy-in event of his choice. Hmm...I wonder which one he'd pick....

Well.. for the sheer humor value I hope it is the free subscription to CardPlayer. And perhaps a pen.

Doesn't he get a car, I think i remember in one of his articles or in his blog he says something about already checking to see if the licence plate POY04 is availible when he got his WSOP04 one done.

They actually give out a bracelet and for the first time also give out $10,000 towards a tournament of my choice.

Danny, could you trade the bracelet in for a free subscription to CardPlayer? I mean a bracelet is only cool when you first get it but with CardPlayer you get a new one every 2 weeks.

Funny jokes aside, I am (as always) a bit annoyed when people proffer their wrong headed speculation - but at least it is prefaced by being labeled as such. It's great to hear it from the horse's mouth, and better to see the bracelet. Will Daniel wear it regularly?Meanwhile, I'm impressed that his win is already listed on Wikepedia already. Does someone here update that?
