Anyone know about the tournament thats going on at Poker Room right now? A 2 day event with $1000 buy in. The tournament starts with 10000 in chips and has 30 minute levels. I think this is a great way for internet poker to head. I hope that these types of tournaments become more frequent. I also have to say that I really love the tournament structure that is done at Pokerroom. Unfortunately I wasn't able to play in that tournament because I cashed out most of my money online because I have a lot of things happening right now so I didn't want to be tempted by poker. Is anyone playing in this tournament? The only issue I have with Pokerroom is the doubling the bet on the turn in a NL tournament.
Awwwww, I almost have a straight!

516 entrants, more than double what they had for the $1000 New Years tourney. Pays top 60 I believe.First place pays $129,000.

if blinds are 30/60, then they make you bet 120 for a min bet on the turn.

If you like these slower tournaments, go to PokerStars in August for the World Championship of Online Poker. Buy ins from $100 to $2500. All tournaments start with 4500 chips and 30 minute intervals. Knocked Raymer out of one of the tourneys last year.

Wow, I didn't know about those tourneys, I'd love to play in one of those. Sounds like a lot of fun.
