Sorry for not using the hand converter. I lost the link. Anyways, fairly LAG table. Plenty of raising preflop, so I limp in EP hoping for a Limp-raise all in. What I got instead was 5 callers, no raise preflop, and a very akward flop. Anybody could have anything at this point. I knew I was golden on the turn, unless he had a set. 99 was probably the only hand to worry about. I didn't think any hand containing a 4 was possible for either player.***** Hand History for Game 1836465116 *****$100 NL Hold'em - Sunday, April 03, 00:39:58 EDT 2005Table Table 37337 (Real Money)Seat 3 is the buttonTotal number of players : 10 Seat 1: fxxkyouall ( $45.95 )Seat 2: nckstradamus ( $101.45 )Seat 4: zipperman05 ( $65.1 )Seat 5: nutjob816 ( $78.3 )Seat 7: mbburch ( $55.3 )Seat 8: crzyjethro ( $96.05 )Seat 9: Elpanavic ( $94 )Seat 10: FinestFlip ( $210.05 )Seat 3: sirforthalot ( $70.45 )Seat 6: nychief25 ( $98 )zipperman05 posts small blind [$0.5].nutjob816 posts big blind [$1].** Dealing down cards **Dealt to mbburch [ Kd Kc ]nychief25 folds.mbburch calls [$1].crzyjethro calls [$1].Elpanavic folds.FinestFlip calls [$1].fxxkyouall calls [$1].nckstradamus folds.sirforthalot calls [$1].zipperman05 calls [$0.5].nutjob816 checks.>You have options at Table 37102 Table!.** Dealing Flop ** [ Jc, 9s, 4h ]zipperman05 checks.nutjob816 checks.>You have options at Table 37395 Table!.mbburch bets [$5].crzyjethro folds.FinestFlip raises [$10].fxxkyouall calls [$10].sirforthalot folds.zipperman05 folds.nutjob816 folds.mbburch calls [$5].** Dealing Turn ** [ 4c ]mbburch checks.FinestFlip bets [$20].fxxkyouall folds.mbburch is all-In [$44.3]FinestFlip: tripps?FinestFlip folds.mbburch shows [ Kd, Kc ] two pairs, kings and fours.mbburch wins $98.3 from the main pot with two pairs, kings and fours.

Raise Preflop, Raise Preflop, Raise Preflop. If you don't you have no idea where you are with the hand, and clown or monkey can limp with any possible trash hand that could beat you on any board if you don't RAISE PREFLOP.
Only after you have lost everything, are you free to do anything.

You really don't have to say anything else about this hand, besides NH(or maybe reraising on the flop?)
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Only reason I limped preflop was because there had been raising at the table at least 65% of the time. Therefore, I was pretty sure that I could limp raise someone all in, who would probably call as a 2:1 dog or a 4:1 dog. I was pretty much ready to muck my hand unless I hit a set when I saw the number of limpers. But at the same time, unless the BB hit something like J4o or 94o, I was probably safe as long as an Ace or a Jack didn't show it's ugly face on the turn. Turn was the perfect card. Even if he did have J9 (I considered it a possibility), I had him beat now. I was definitely expecting a call out of AJ or KJ. He was getting 4:1 on a call. Why he thought I could have a 4, I have no idea. I don't play hands that contain 4's out of position, nor do I usually bet out 3/4 of the pot with bottom pair. I just thought it was an interesting hand because my original plan backfired, and I still won the hand.

If your plan was to limp reraise, then nice hand.

I like the limp reraise preflop. So you didn't get to do it, oh well.Plus if you're a good player you can make some nice money post flop with a limped KK.
